Hi,
I have recently extended my long term Evohome installation to include an HCCR80R UFH controller with setup as follows:
Zone 1 - Kitchen controlled by Evohome controller, with two actuated valves on common manifold and working fine.
Zone 2 - Games Room controlled by Y87RF thermostat, two actuated valves on common manifold and working fine.
Zone 4 - Lounge controlled by Y87RF thermostat, one actuated valve on common manifold. Whenever this room demands heat it is not firing the boiler, the actuated valve is opening and the UFH pump starts but the boiler doesn’t fire.
The same happened when I initially assigned the Lounge to zone 3 on the HCCR80R (hence now zone 4) in the hope to solve during setup.
All the above has been setup with the same procedure and cannot figure why this is happening.
Does anybody out there know of a solution or have/had any similar issues?
Thanks in advance.
Chris

Re: HCCR80 UFH and Boiler Firing Issue
Sounds like you have bound the thermostat directly to the UFH controller instead of the evohome Controller? Resideo tech support should be able to talk you through this 0300 130 1299 option 3.
