Due to the distance to the main evohome controller, I have purchased a second one (bothg atc928). There will be two zones on it, the rest on the other one. The soon-to-be-installed heatpump is in the middle of these two controllers, and as far as I have been able to find out, I can connect both of them to the same BDR91T to trigger the pump, am I correct here?
But, I would like to also be able to trigger cooling from any of the two evohome controllers. I do have a (dutch) document describing the ways to connect the heatpump, but I think there are many options... Any best practices out there to do achieve this?
Multiple controllers for heatpump
Re: Multiple controllers for heatpump
Personally, I wouldn't use evohome with a heat pump. I don't yet think any 3rd party controller is right for this application.
