Hi, I don't think this is mentioned in any other post but sorry if it's repeated elsewhere. We're Evohome Connected Specialists and have installed aorund 30 or so systems now. We've had the same steep learning curve the most people seem to have had but are now pretty confident at tackling any size or type of installation. However one thing that still bugs me is when binding HR92's I get a different screen / option as per attached file. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the system and everything works ok but I would like to know why I get these two different options and whether anyone else has noticed it? So for example I can be using guided config to bind 7 HR92's, sometimes after the binding signal has been received I get the screen asking if I want to add more HR92's to this room (the option I would like each time) but other times I get a new binding screen asking me to bind again despite the fact that each room is set up identically. Any feedback would be most welcome!
Differing screens when binding HR92
Re: Differing screens when binding HR92
This is occurring because you are rushing the binding of the 'sensor' HR92. This is the only reason this screen occurs. I have added you to the customer area of the forum. Have a look at the help videos we have provided to see how it should be done to avoid this issue.
