Hi kit just arrived, I intend to fit in my sons house. Is it acceptable to power up the controler and boiler relay, insert batteries in HR92 and bind all the device, before install for example the valve heads to the trv. Once configured install in sons house. If it meets my expectation I shall consider fiting the system in my own home.

Yep, just be careful when you are binding as per the videos I have provided. Make sure you keep plenty of space between the devices when you have bound the system and testing them.
