Radiator issues with Evohome

Hello, I am having issues with two radiators fitted with Evohome controllers in my system (which is otherwise working well). These radiators are located in the top floor of my house and one will not come on at all, while the other seems to come on and off unrelated to the setting on the controller.

In terms of the first one I did think that the issue may be related to water pressure so I have topped up the system (not too much) but this hasn't had any effect and wondered if this was ever an issue for anyone else?

With the second one, I am at a loss! The radiator seems to come on and off without any reference to the settings on the controller and I have no idea why. I have tried other controllers on the radiator but they make no difference and I have tested the settings to see if they are working (they are). All other radiators and controllers on the system are working as intended and both controllers are receiving radio signals and have full batteries. It does however seem to go off when the other radiators in the system go off.

Baffled - any help would be gratefully received!

I assume the radiator comes on when the HR92 is removed from the valve base plate? If not then probably a non compatible or faulty valve.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have replaced the Evohome/Honeywell controllers with the old TRVs and yes, they work and the radiator comes on. I'm not sure what that means though?

With the HR92 head not fitted and just the HR92 valve base plate fitted does the radiator get hot?

Apologies for the delay - yes it does, it seems to go on and off when other radiators in the floor below come on.

Can't be bound correctly...

Ok thanks - how can I tell if it isn't, would it give me some indication? I have checked the radio link and they are OK and the controller doesn't indicate any issue.

No indication, it would work correctly if it was bound correctly.
