override no longer working when heating off

I used to be able to have the heating set to off, like in the picture below, and then twiddle the knob on a HR92. The HR92 valve opens and the system would turn the boiler on.

However for the past few days this hasn't been happening. The system needs to be on in order for the override to happen.
Has there been an update or something that would stop this from happening?

You've been updated to the latest firmware, so very likely things have changed.

You've been updated to the latest firmware, so very likely things have changed.
Thats a bit of a pain. It was useful to have the heating off and then just twiddle the HR92 to turn the heating on when needed.
Now I'm going to have to turn system on then override the schedule on all zones that have a temperature set so they dont heat up. Then remember to turn heating off.

The change in behaviour to ignore local overrides from the HR92 knob when the System Mode is HeatingOff was introduced in the firmware beta in 2020 and has stayed with us ever since.
It's why EvoControl has a 'Standby' activity/scene. With a single tap (or voice command) all zones have their setpoints reduced to 5° but the system mode stays as Auto/Follow-Schedule. This means that manual overrides from either the TRV knob or from EvoControl are handled correctly.
