Hi all,
I'm considering getting an Evohome system installed to control my hot water and heating and just wanted to check compatability first.
My current heating system is an S-Plan configuration based around an oil fired boiler. The boiler is controlled by a basic clock unit with separate DHW and CH timers. Depending what is requested the clock activates relays to start the boiler and a separate pump and then open a valve to either the DHW loop or the CH.
Is this system compatable with Evohome, is it simply the case that the evohome controller would directly replace the current clock unit or would I need additional items or at worst to reconfigure the system.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
Evohome with S-Plan
Re: Evohome with S-Plan
Hi Chris,
The system is not a direct replacement for your programmer and would need to be slightly modified to ensure evohome maximises the use of your oil boiler. evohome is very capable, and can fit with any system.
If you would like to talk, give me a call to discuss Mon-Fri 8:30am till 5:30pm on 07884 110955.
Thanks,
Richard
