I've recently replaced my (very) old (pre built-in wifi) controller with a brand new one. Lovely, except...
The hot water is way too hot and I can't figure out why. It's set to 50, no overrun, 5 degree offset, but it's constantly being heated to 60. At a loss to see why. Any ideas? It was all working so well until I upgraded the controller.
Images in link - you can see the system is calling for hot water heating despite already being at 60!

Hot water too hot
Re: Hot water too hot
Hi, the hot water icon is red because of the schedule. Since there is no flame symbol I think the Evohome isn't asking to heat it.
I had this kind of issue when my CS92A was badly positioned. At that time it basically worked, but frequently overheated the water (up to >70°C). I've changed the CS92A position and since then it didn't happen any more.
Note that you can extend the wires of the temperature sensor if needed.
