Boiler not turning on

Need your help desperately please.

Evohome set up to CH and HW.

However, when CH relay is activated (green light) the boiler does not fire up (I understand it's a system boiler). Is there a switch or something that is faulty?

Hot water works OK all the time.

Tried calling helpline but it seems to be out of service.

Check your motorised valves are working. The motors due go faulty and will not send the trigger to the boiler.

Depends on your heating system weather you have one 3 port valve (y Plan) or two one way valves (s plan). If you hot water is working as it should the I would guess you have two one way valves.

The lever on the valve should move when thermostats calls for heat.

Thank you - it turns out the 2 port valve motor was faulty and when trying to open it was not activating the micro-switch inside. For now I am manually activating this, and have a plumber booked in this week to replace the faulty 2 port valve.
