Thermostat unit and bezel keeps turning constantly.

My new Honeywell Evohome has 4 thermostat units fitted in 4 rooms. The unit doesn’t stop turning on the radiator value, even when I remove it. I take out batteries, reclose unit and refit. After several minutes it starts again turning around. Please advise me why this could be? It has happened on another unit too. Is there a users guide available? Thanks for replies.
