Outside Temperature Indication Stopped Working

The 'Outside xxC' temperature indication has disappeared completely. (the indication next to internet icon, top left on display), At first I did not notice that it was not updating. It was stuck on 9C for weeks, Then it disappeared completely.

Evohome had been working fine for years, so I contacted Support and they said it could be a firmware update issue. They sent me the latest firmware but this did not resolve the issue,

Three weeks later after numerous exchanges with Honeywell, Resideo and my ISP, including several attempts at Router Configurations (Ports and DNS, Fixed IP et al) . I am still no further forward. About 25 hours totally wasted.
Checking this Forum I could find no other references to this problem. Would it be related to fact I changed my ISP from Plusnet to Vodafone few weeks back. Fingers began to be pointed.......

Oh, it is because I changed ISP ! Plusnet has fixed IP address as standard. Vodafone offered fixed IP address on request free of charge. I got Vodafone's fixed IP, reset all, but issue remains.
Oh, it is because you need to open ports ! What Ports and where to find details. Oh, (no Ports mentioned in User Literature ! Try Ports 2445, 5561, 5562) . Where is this written? I did but issue remains.
Oh, it is because Port 443 has to be opened ! I did that too. No success.
Oh well, it worked before so it is my issue to solve.

Anyone with similar issues after changing ISP?

Thanks for that link, which I followed and read from beginning to end.

Despite following the recommendations, and not being an IP wizard, I was unable to get the Accuweather temperature indicated. If the same link is available accessible to non-forum members I could point my current 'Vodafone Support Request' forum with the link.

Finally Resideo/Honeywell have said it is a Vodafone / Router Issue. They recommend I take my Evohome device to someone living nearby and try my Evohome on their system. If it works then, they can close the case.

Anyone followers of this thread living anywhere near High Wycombe ?

Finally Solved !

Apparently, the Router reset button must be held for "10 seconds" to let the network re-establish the protocols fully from scratch. No need to fiddle with ports and protocols. The Router then does it all.

Worked like a treat !

Try resetting the Wi-Fi settings in Evohome controller, as the old settings in other router have changed
