Hr92s with t87rf correct setup

So i have a living room / dining room setup with a pair of radiators, my thinking was a pair of hr92s on the radiators but with a t87rf in the middle of the room to effectively sit in the middle of the two radiators and give a comfortable average between the two.

So i set it up so that the t87rf was the sensor i.e it was the first device i bind during the setup, then i bind each of the hr92s in turn. However despite this the evohome panel and the app report the temperature from the hr92s (it seems the hr92s are more or less in sync temperature wise so not sure which one of the two its using) but either way its not the t87rf temp.

So for example right now the set point is 18.5, both hr92s are showing 18.5 but the t87rf is showing 17.5 but evohome panel and the app is showing 18.5

What is the correct way to set this up?

Thanks in advance

Craig

I'm interested in a reply to this too as I have a lounge with two radiators and I want to add a T87RF to the room to better read the room temp.

This should work - I have 3 radiators with a central temperature sensor. Presume the zone is set as single room?

Hi all,
I have the same configuration and the same issue. Zone is set as single room, is it wrong?

Single room is correct.

Have you tried rebinding the temperature sensor. No need to delete the zone, just rebind the sensor.

I'm not really sure where this is going wrong? T87RF fully cleared down and then bound in with CO (not BO)?

Personally I would delete the zone and create it again (don't forget to clear all the devices in that zone down). Then create new zone, add T87RF as the 'sensor' then both HR92's at the same time when it asks you to bind the 'actuators'. If you bind in one of the HR92's at the sensor position, you will have an issue. They should both be bound in at the same time when it asks for the actuators to be bound.
