Honeywell Y plan and secondary circulating pump

Hello everybody,

Today i finished installation of a Yutaki M heat pump in my residence. I have purchased an Evohome system in order to control heating more efficiently.
It consists of: 1 Evohome controller (ATC928G3000), 1 command relay (BDR91T), 8 radiator zone valves (HR92).
The configuration of the system is Y plan as indicated in the attached image.

Heating system consists of a primary and secondary circuit. The only difference from the image is that the DHW cylinder and the 3-way diversion valve are located in the primary circuit (before the buffer tank). The primary circuit and DHW with the 3-way valve are controlled from the heat pump (with its own controller). Evohome will control the secondary circuit, BDR91 relay will control the secondary circulating pump and HR92 will control the radiators.

I managed to set up HR92 valves (into 6 zones-rooms), but i'm struggling with BDR91.
My question is what is the best way to set up BDR91?
Should i set it up as "appliance control" and defined it as wireless relay box or heat pump?
Unfortunately there is lack of literature regarding heat pump systems and their configuration with evohome, so any help is appriciated.

So essentially you have a buffer cylinder with a pump on the secondary and some HR92's?

Just setup as an appliance relay. :geek:

Hello Assoboy,

I have the same facility to set up and the same questions

Have you completed your installation? Is it working?
