Separate room Thermostat. Does this exist?

In my kitchen the radiator and therefore hr92 are under a bench. It means I have to have the temp on the thermostat very high. I'd like to combine a room thermostat that I can control from my evohome system (control the radiator valves, set times etc), while taking a room temperature from the middle of the room. I've looked at the dts92 and installation but I'm not sure this does what I want, it looks like it talks directly to the boiler bypassing the evohome central hub.
While I love the evohome system (apart from a few glitches), the problem with temperature gradients in our rooms is a problem which could be mostly solved with the addition of a room thermostat in the middle of some of the rooms. Otherwise I find I have to turn the temperature up in the winter.
So does this add on thermostat exist? Thanks very much!
