HR92 Problems

I have a Evohome system using 8 radiators each with a HR92 fitted. They have been working for about three and a half years. One HR92 had a screen failure which was returned to Honeywell who confirmed it as faulty but out of warranty. A second started to return a temperature of 24/28 degrees despite being set at 10 degrees in a room in my loft which was closed up for the winter period and felt like a fridge freezer. This was also returned to Honeywell and again confirmed as faulty and out of warranty. I have recently purchased yet another HR92 which appears to have the same problem as my second one. This one also shows the window as being open but the return temperature jumping between 21 and 24.5 one or the other plus window open. This one is going back to the supplier on Monday for exchange. My failure rate so far is 3 out of 10. These seem to me to be electronic failures rather than the mechanics within which one might expect to fail. I consider this very poor. Has anyone any experiences like this.

We have seen our fair share of HR92's returned over the past 7 years of selling the product, however a good majority of HR92's returned by customers are not faulty and have either been setup incorrectly/evohome system not setup in ideal conditions or have had an external influence that has led to its faulty state (damage from kids or hoover, excessive moisture, battery terminals corroded from battery leakage, etc).

I have a few local installations I did back in 2015-16 where the evohome systems and HR92's are still going strong, so maybe you have just been unlucky having 3 devices failed? I can only but assume based on my own experience.
