bdr91 flashing red slowly

Heating clicks on when the hot water clicks in and I have done a factory reset to clear everything but now the bdr91 keeps flashing red slowly so now after a year of running the system it's just one problem after another even though I wanted it to save me money it's also costing more money to run?
Any information as to the problem is much appreciated before I have no hair left.
