Controller (HR92) comms fault actuator - HELP

Post by Samo »

Hi everyone. I bought my Evehome last week and been using it with four radiator controllers. One controller is placed in the living room keeps causing the Evohome monitor to show an error comms message as showing in the attached photo. I tried the these troubleshooting steps with no luck to fix the issue:

1. Reset the controller settings.
2. Unbinding and rebinding after clearing the connection with the Evohome monitor.
3. Remove the battery for few seconds after resting the settings.
4. Delete the zone and create new zone then rebind the controller.

After doing the steps above, and create new zone, the system would work for few hours then same error appears.

Interestingly, the controller and the eveohome monitor keep communicating properly (two way communication) despite the error message that keeps pooping up every time I click the living room zone.

Any idea what to do? not sure if the controller is defected or I'm missing something.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot. It's always the straightforward solutions that got overlooked. I cleared the log and it's good for a couple for days now.

Thanks for this ! Just worked for me (after spending a few hours trying to debug, thankfully not resetting or re-binding).

Bit counter intuitive that after a reboot of the controller that errors still show when they aren't actually present..
