Hi there,
I'm in the process of fitting an evohome kit to an existing s plan set up. The problem I have is that I can't get the hot water sensor into the immersion (bottom) spare pocket as the cylinder stats are located there. Heatrea recommend installing a second immersion in the top immersion blanking port but I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions like pushing the sensor under the insulation touching the steel cylinder?? Any help would be very well recieved. Cheers!

This article mentions ".......insert a new evohome NTC sensor in the Megaflo’s dry sensor pocket" https://www.plumbarena.co.uk/help-guide ... ion-guide/
I don't have a Megaflow myself but my installer placed the sensor in a "pocket" behind the wiring centre that is screwed on the side of my equivalent cylinder.
