Hot water temperature

I've installed Evohome earlier this year, with the Hot Water Kit connected to my Y plan heating setup. It's all working brilliantly, and during the winter months saved me a considerable amount of gas. The mother-in-law also commented how warm the house was compared to normal (we hadn't told her anything had changed). Points to Evohome!
The only grumble is that the hot water temperature displayed on the Evohome controller is frequently wrong. During the summer months the hot water is heated by the immersion heater powered by the PV panels on the roof (using Immersun, if you're interested) - the gas boiler doesn't get a look in between May and September and is turned off at the wall. On the Evohome I've got the heating and hot water set to 'permanently off'. Despite the fact that I have a tank of 60°C water in the airing cupboard the Evohome still shows 23°C. I can't decide whether this is a bug in the Evohome software, or it is intentionally not updating the display when the hot water is set to 'off'.
Any suggestions?
