Noticed something unusual yesterday with the HR92 TRV in my home study. It was showing on the Controller "Window" and had gone to 5ºC but the window in the study doesn't open and the door was closed. Hmmm odd.
So I went in to check. Ah ha! Was it confused? The TRV was basking in the sunshine streaming in through the window so was being very very solar heated. A quick check with my IR thermometer and the TRV measured 28ºC so well above the original target temperature of 19ºC
Is this a "fail soft" condition if the temperature is massively out of range or is it purely the sensor has got confused?
I also tried calibrating a separate HR92 in my living room as there was a 1ºC difference between the TRV measured room temp and the middle of the room (measured by a digital thermometer). When I set the -1ºC difference (TRV was reading higher than room) on setting 8 the sensor went almost instantly to "Window" and 5ºC. Have I calibrated incorrectly or is this a bug?
Cheers
Keiron

Any rapid increase or decrease in temperature will cause the window open function to enable...
