Evohome internet access gateway

My Evohome controller is unable to see the internet access gateway, therefore no icon appears on the screen and I cannot bind the gateway. The controller, router and gateway are all within 1 feet of each other. I have unplugged the gateway from the router and the power supply and then reconnected after 15 minutes, but this made no difference. The controller is connected to the internet and there is a good signal. Everything else works fine as thanks to this forum I managed to fix all the other issues. The left hand light on the gateway is continuously flashing green, which means the gateway is not registered, but when I set up the account on Total Connect I entered the MAC address for the controller but there were no options for adding anything else.
