Hi, I'm new to Evohome and this forum.
I have the ATC928G3000 and 6 x HR92 across 5 rooms. I have the Evohome controller set as sensor in the kitchen as the HR92 is a bit enclosed so is warmer than the actual room. In zone configuration it says:
Kitchen -
'Heating Type - Radiator valve
Temp Sensor - Evotouch sensor.
3 other rooms, all with just one HR92 all say:
Heating type - Radiator valve
Temp sensor - remote sensor
The last (living) room has the sole HR92 tucked away in a nice cosy corner, so again, is warmer than the actual room, so I bought and connected at DTS92E. It all seems connected ok but in Zone Configuration it also states:
Heating type - radiator valve
Temp sensor - remote sensor
I would say that is correct but the 3 other rooms, all with just a single HR92 also say 'temp sensor - remote sensor'.
How can it say remote sensors when the only sensors are on the HR92s themselves?
Have I set them up right? I'm not actually sure because my head is in a bit of a whirl at the moment
Any advice or (preferably) reassurance will be gratefully received

Re: Confused about settings displayed in Zone Configuration
'Remote Sensor' indicates that the sensor being used is external from the evohome Controller itself and the term applies to any remote sensor being used...

Ahh, so not remote from the HR92 itself, just remote from the controller? The EVOHOME Shop wrote:'Remote Sensor' indicates that the sensor being used is external from the evohome Controller itself and the term applies to any remote sensor being used...
That makes sense, thank you. I was a bit worried as it all seems to be working as intended but what I was seeing just made me a little uncertain.
