Install two Evohome controllers

I have a property with a requirement for 16 zones and of course the Evohome only supports 12. I could combine a few rooms and maybe get the zones to 12 but what about the other option of two EvoHome controllers.

One zone (already installed) controls the hot water and Upstairs heating. Can I wire a second EvoHome with just a boiler relay and wire it in parallel with the heating controller of the first?

An other thoughts?
