We get asked this a few times a week, so here is the guide!

1. Firstly go to Honeywell Total Connect Comfort (TCC) and register for an account - https://international.mytotalconnectcom ... t/Register
2. You will get an email from Honeywell, confirm your email address address by clicking the link in the email and then head back to TCC and login here - https://international.mytotalconnectcom ... ount/Login
3. Once logged in under 'LOCATIONS' click the '+ Add Location' button.
4. Add your location details and click 'Create Location'.
5. You will now be faced with two options - either to add a 'Comfort System' or 'Security System'. Click 'Comfort System' for evohome Heating OR 'Security System' for evohome Security.
6. If you click 'Comfort System' insert your MAC address and CRC code found under the fascia of the evohome Controller. If you click 'Security System' then follow the on-screen prompts followed by filling out the required details including your mobile number and the evohome Security Hub's 'ID Code'.
7. Download the relevant TCC App for your device!
7a. Apple iOS devices download the App from here (iPads need to use the iPhone App as there is not a specific iPad one) - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/total-c ... 53368?mt=8
7b. Android devices download the App from here - https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... rope&hl=en
8. Let the App install on your device, start the App and then 'login' using the same username and password you created for your TCC account!
9. You should now see your location(s) and you can choose between the heating and security system at the bottom of the App.

I hope that helps! 8-)

Hello. I keep getting this message, yet the local set-up is fine and the wifi is working. Do you have any advice?

"Communication with the system has been lost" in the app and online, and I cannot control my system remotely.

Many thanks,

Andy

An unstable broadband connection can cause this or if attached to a range extender then it dropping out can also cause this... I have one range extender at home that loses connection every now and again with the same consequence.
