Hi

Interesting as I have 8 zones with HR92s fitted, 1 zone with a ordinary TRV, and one zine (the bathroom) with 1 rad manual valves and 1 rad ordinary TRV.

And yes, there’s 3 rads only come on when the HRs are calling for heat, and yes I’m having getting to heat problems with all 11 rads.

So …. can I use HRs in the bathroom and if so what about steam hitting them?

All help appreciated

Stephen

Its not ideal tbh, as electronics don't like moisture and damp and Resideo don't cover warranty on items due to water damage. We have fitted HR92's in bathrooms and not many have failed, but we have had some.

Lots of people have fitted them in bathrooms, but it does come with risks. We have had quite a few returned as 'faulty' in the past, only to find they are water damaged.

Why not just leave the bathroom on a standard TRV and it will just come on when you have demands off the other HR91/HR92 on the system?
