Internal battery draining too quick

Hello,

Firstly,thanks for the solution,im very impressed.

However,i found that the main controller unit's battery depletes very quick,less than 12 hours and is making an annoying sound.
Found and i will order a wall mounted kit ( Honeywell evohome Wall Mounting Pack ATF600 ) for the controller but what can i do in meantime !?
If i will change the batteries with a more powerull ones,will it do the job !?

The batteries I think are only designed to run the controller for 4-6hrs off its base, so you are doing well to get 12!

Mine came with a desk stand unit which you can sit the controller on and it will power, and charge the batteries. Did you not get one with yours?

As SplanK said, the evohome Controller is not designed to be an 'off the dock' device and batteries typically will last no longer than 4-6 hours when off the dock/wall mount due to the amount of RF signal transmitted during this time.
