CS92A's, BDR91's & evohome Controller Positioning

Post by Richard »

All these devices are Radio Frequency (RF) devices and must be installed with care! This is a great document about RF, please read this - http://www.honeywelluk.com/documents/Al ... reless.pdf

In a nutshell, the BDR91's and CS92A need to be 300mm minimum away from each other, metallic objects, copper pipes and other electrical items to work properly (Page 4 of the evohome Installation Guide)!

The evohome Controller needs to be at least 1000mm (100cm or 1m) away from anything else wireless - DECT phones, routers, TV's, microwaves just to name a few (Page 48 of the evohome Installation Guide)!

Failure to do this will result in 'COMMS FAULT' errors or things just not turning on and off correctly.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks,

Richard
