Zone not turning off at end of time period and so staying on

Post by speedtriple309 »

I have a zone called Hallway, two radiators set to turn off at 1930. Twice now in last week on going to bed we found radiators still to be on. Checked evohome control and it said 'override' until 0600 when they were due to come on again. The override temperature was the same as the temperature they were supposed to go off at 1930. Hasn't done it before (we had the system installed in late December) and only change I can identify was my daughter downloaded iphone app for honeywell. I have turned off optimisation, I have re programmed the hallway from scratch and checked the iphones to make sure no one had incorrectly programmed. I have even checked as to whether cat could have brushed passed control but you can't brush past to turn it on. Only other change was we installed the security alarm by evohome but to be on safe side I turned off the feature that turned the heating off when you turned the alarm on. Thinking aloud the alarm is partly set this evening but that couldn't interfere could it? Any suggestions appreciated.

I am not sure, but please contact Honeywell to see if there are any app related issues on 0300 1301299.

I experienced a similar problem about 6 months ago. When I asked Honeywell for advice they suggested removing the batteries from the HR92(s) in the zone that had the problem, wait approx. 1 minute then reinsert batteries. - It worked for me.
