Two Boilers In one House - Help

Post by Physics »

Hi,
At The moment I have a Vokera Combi (1900) on each floor of my house - Large house good concurrent hot water flow at each Level has worked well.
I Plan to replace the Ground and first-floor boilers (defunct) with one new Intergas HRE to serve the 12 Rads and Bathroom, cloakroom and Kitchen Hot water
The top floor I will retain the Old Vokera combi which runs well, for a while before replacing it serves 6 Rads

I am planning to run Evohome system with Opentherm bridge and 12 HR92s on the Intergas HRE ground and Middle floor

Also a second Evohome Wireless for the top floor with six HR92s

Problem -- You can only register one Evohome controller (App etc) to one physical (confirmed) address.

Honeywell have suggested to me I use my work address to register the other!!!!

Any suggestions welcome

You can have as many 'locations' as you wish with the TCC app - so setup one 'location' as 'Upstairs' and one 'Downstairs' for instance on the same account. This would mean a physical 2 button press between the locations on the app to change between the two controllers.

BTW, we are about to sell Intergas boilers, so a very good choice - http://www.theintergasshop.co.uk launching in 2 weeks! 8-)

Well thanks for that. I will go ahead and order the Evohome kit from you. But unfortuantely I have already aquired the Intergas boiler and intend to install in a few months.
I will try to post on the forum my experience. I am hoping for good things but dont have access to the Intergas pc Interface neither I nor my GAS SAFE installer can justify the expense of monitoring the performance. which I understand may be possible with the interface cable and diagnostic software.

Indeed, the ECO RF is a very capable boiler for the money. 8-)
