HR91 Battery Drain

Post by dylan1312 »

Hey folks,

I have 8 HR91's installed, 7 of them work just fine and will last 12+ months before needing batteries replaced.

One TRV however lasts 2-3 weeks at best before needing a fresh set. It's quite close to the controller so I don't think range resulting in the need for more power is the issue.

Has anyone come across anything similar with their TRVS?

We have HR92s. We use rechargeable batteries which I wouldn't expect to last as long, however at times I have to change them every 2-3 weeks. It's not the biggest issue in the world, but is an inconvenience.

Might be a faulty HR91? Good alkaline batteries normally last 12-18 months.
