Extra room in Honeywell Home after changing BDR91 to BDR91T

Since we got a heat pump a few months ago I still had to change the BDR91 to an BDR91T (module for heat pumps). The installation went great but had to ask Resideo/Honeywell to push a new firmware version.

Now I suddenly have an extra room in my Home App with no name (and desired temperature 66 degrees celcius, which is enormous (normally 30 degrees Celsius is the maximum)) which I don’t see on the evohome control panel. What is this? And how can I delete it?

Just to try something I gave the room a name through the app and changed the desired temperature to 20 degrees Celsius (so it doesn’t trigger my heatpump). But the room still doesn’t appear on the control panel.

Log out of the app. Delete, reinstall and log in again and see what you get?

Found the solution. It is a known problem called “ghost zone”.

To solve it log in to your system on the Honeywell website.

Don’t use safari, since it can cause issues (apparently). Delete your location and add it again using your MAC and CRC. After doing so the ghost zone was gone.
