Boiler relay issues

Hi, i am having issues with the boiler relay. It is turning on and off randomly. This is when all heating zones on the evohome are set to off. So there is no demand from the zone valves. Any ideas what could be doing this?

Hello, maybe there is a communication issue and the failsafe is starting the boiler ?

Hi, thanks for your reply. The boiler switch is within line of site of the touch screen controller, so would like to think that they can talk. I’ll see if i can run the coms check between the 2. Is there any other way to see if it is the fail safe firing the boiler?

I would say that once you have the relay on, check the System Summary (access by pressing > 10 seconds on Settings), if the heat demand is 0% I would bet it's a failsafe issue.
Personally I would try disabling that failsafe to see if it helps.
But I have no other diagnostic mean to propose.
