We are in the process of replacing our LPG boiler with an Ecodan Mitsubishi ASHP and buffer tank.
We have been very happy with the system for the last two years. I do understand that the house heating programming may need to change for the underfloor heating and ASHP to work together efficiently.
However my question is this. Although the Hot Water Kit (ATF500DHW) sensor will still work to show the tank temperature I understand that the hot water settings will be controlled by the Mitsubishi in future. This is my installers view anyway.
Does anyone have any comment on this?
Thanks.

Re: ASHP hot water control
Leave the heat pump do the DHW recovery. This is how heat pumps work.

Re: ASHP hot water control
Thank you. We may leave the DHW temperature monitoring on the EvoHome for old times sake.
