I've pretty much got everything working....but one thing that I'm still confused about right at the beginning of the set-up process is how the BDR91 is 'configured' on the Evohome controller.
I have it as a "Boiler Control" (Wireless Relay Box setting) and it also appears as a Zone with Heating Type: Zone Valve (and the Temperature Sensor set to "Evotouch Sensor"). Is this correct?
With these settings, the BDR91 appears as a Zone on the Controller Screen (with a schedule and everything). I'm just not sure what sense this makes?
Initial set-up
Re: Initial set-up
Most people with 'S Plan' systems, adding HR91/HR92 need to follow the guidance on page 46 of the evohome Installation Guide.
The reason evohome has a 'single zone' option and its own temperature sensor, is because it can be used with an S Plan system without HR91/HR92's. You don't use it like this if you have Radiator Controllers though.

Re: Initial set-up
Thanks for your response.
I don't think that I was clear enough about the query - so I will try again...
I'm more confused about the actual way that the Boiler Controller is 'presented' on the Touch Screen Console and the Mobile App.
Configured as a "Wireless Relay Box", it then appears on the Console and App as if it were a Zone (with a temperature and schedule). Is this correct - and what's the logic?

Re: Initial set-up
All depends what you do on the initial guided configuration. It gives you the option to setup as a single zone with a wireless relay box, and if you do this it will add a tile with a temperature using the evohome controller screen. Personally I skip this, go into the installer settings and configure from there using a factory reset followed by guided configuration.Villageidiot wrote:Configured as a "Wireless Relay Box", it then appears on the Console and App as if it were a Zone (with a temperature and schedule).
