Hi, I have recently fitted a 2022 EVOHME control panel for my son (with smart features) and got caught out as in ECO mode, it doesn't work the same as my own older 2016 Controller and not sure whether I have a setting wrong.
So, on my 2016 when in ECO, the HR92 and panel display show the temp that has been chosen (i.e. 19 degrees) so to increase up to 20 degrees I would just turn the HR92 or the panel up by 1 degree and it would show 20 degrees. On the 2022 version (In ECO mode), the display will show 19 degrees, but I have to turn the HR92 (or app or control panel) up to 23 degrees, presumably so that it can compute that I want 23degrees minus 3 degrees (ECO) = 20 degrees. it did take me some time to work out what was going on, its also a little bit confusing as the user may not be able to see whether the system is in ECO mode from the HR92. Is there a setting that I have missed.
Thanks as always for your help.

You can now adjust the 'eco' mode in user settings (settings > quick actions > eco/boost).

Hi - Thanks, however only if the unit has been updated with the latest software - Honeywell did this remotely for me, however despite their assurance, it lost most of its previous setting so, be warned !The EVOHOME Shop wrote:You can now adjust the 'eco' mode in user settings (settings > quick actions > eco/boost).
It does still seem a bit confusing that if you set a radiator at 19 degrees (in eco mode, assuming the default 3 degree eco offset) to increase by 1 degree to 20 degrees, the user has to turn the HR92 or set the pad temp to 23 degrees so that it will revert back to 20 degrees desired

I'm confused why you would implement ECO mode, then to override it? Maybe I'm missing something.kartingmad wrote:Hi - Thanks, however only if the unit has been updated with the latest software - Honeywell did this remotely for me, however despite their assurance, it lost most of its previous setting so, be warned !The EVOHOME Shop wrote:You can now adjust the 'eco' mode in user settings (settings > quick actions > eco/boost).

You don't understand why I may want to override the temp whilst its in ECO mode?? Simple, its a bit cold and I want to increase a room by 1 degree, so - again, it means that I have to add 2 - 3 degrees so the system can knock it off - just seems a bit daft, but hey, For clarification, the previous software version didn't work like this, In ECO you could simply increase the temp by 1deg - I do understand that you haven't invented the system, I'm just checking that I don't have something set wrongly, and this is a forum to get help. The EVOHOME Shop wrote:I'm confused why you would implement ECO mode, then to override it? I've never used eco mode at home, as everything is scheduled exactly how I want it. If you believe there is an issue, please raise a ticket with Resideo Technical Support.kartingmad wrote:You don't understand why I may want to override the temp whilst its in ECO mode??
