Hi all,
My Gen 2 Evotouch controller suddenly decided not to play and won't bot- just displays 'image error' msg. I decided to update to a Gen 3 controller anyway for the wifi connectivity, but annoys me that it seems impossible not to recover a reasonably modern device and no hard reset button or pins when I open it up. Device seems to retain USB connectivity, so wonder if possible to get into it at low level and reflash.Resideo advice is just to shrug and say 'buy a new one' but I'm keen to see if I can resusucitate this unit even through I've now got a Gen 3 installed- which does seem to have a wired way of unilaterally overriding settings and doing other weird stuff...if that's a foretaste of AI, we're in big trouble...! So, any ideas for recovering Gen 2 unit? Thx.
Flash bricked v2 Evotouch controller?
Re: Flash bricked v2 Evotouch controller?
Not that I know of, but I'm sure someone could do it as this is more accessible as far a ports go, verses a G3000 model.
