I have cast iron radiators with old fashioned looking thermostatic rad stat valves. I don’t want to replace them with modern radstats and am interested to know if there is a remote valve and motor that could be hidden under the floor ( it could be main’s powered) and in line with the rad stat and have a room stat linked in the zone. Any thoughts on this?

Hi, and yes you could use one of these (https://mwphs.co.uk/product/bettys-zone-valve-300l-hr/) in the floor, but would need a Y87RF2024 (https://theevohomeshop.co.uk/product/ho ... y87rf2024/) operating the zone via evohome. You can use a HR91 or HR92, but would have to allow access for faults and changing batteries.
