Evohome behaviour when stat drops offline/comms failure

Hi,

I assumed the Evohome would simply switch the zone OFF, as it would have no way to monitor the increasing room temperature.

Seems not to be the case, as I had 2x rooms heating +3C over their target temperature and consuming lots of oil needlessly

Is there a setting I've missed to prevent this?

The setting for this is in the 'INSTALLATION MENU' (press and hold 'SETTINGS' for 3+ seconds). Its called 'FAIL SAFE' and is under the 'SYSTEM PARAMETERS' menu.
