Evohome App on iOS says it has lost communications,
but the app temps and timings are updating in real-time.
Resetting Wi-fi, and router, and evohome controller have no effect.
(I would add an app screenshot but the f8lesize is larger than 256kb)
Evohome app says lost communication but nothing wrong

Downscaled the screenshot so that it would attach

Re: Evohome app says lost communication but nothing wrong
It’s working again, but just an update for anyone falling into this!
I filled out customer service form on the Honeywell website.
Their first email response was to quote the article on fixing wireless access issues.
https://ensupport.getconnected.honeywel ... uage=en_US
I had already found that page myself, and tried all the suggestions.
I appreciated the response, but it was not helpful, as I had explained in the note, communications wasn’t lost (real time data was bein received) it’s just that the app could not ‘write back’ any changes - it smelled like a server side issue, and I told them that.
In a second email they asked for:
- Photo of the MAC ID and CRC code, it is possible to find this code by removing the plastic frame of the controller or under the RFG100 gateway if provided of one.
- Mail address used to create the account.
- If you have a RFG100 Gateway provide a photo of the three lights present on it clearly visible.
- If you have the Wi-Fi integrated evohome controller a photo of the Wi-Fi Settings screen showing the active connection.
- Photo of the battery level on your evohome controller.
- Photo of the error "Communication with the system has been lost" .
I provided this info.
A while later the service was restored, but I did not ge further communication from Honeywell.
