BDR91 Turns itself off

Guys, the house keeps getting cold, so, I go into the boiler cupboard and the BDR91 is off (no lights at all).

So, I push the button and it all fires up fine. In a couple of hours the same thing happens and the pattern keeps repeating itself.

So, I think I have this wrong.

I assumed the green light is on all the time to indicate it was on and working.

However, I think I am wrong. The green light only comes on when a room is calling for heat? Am I right in thinking that please?

The green led on a BDR91 simply indicates that the controller has requested the boiler to fire up (or that the test button on the BDR91 has been pressed to turn on the boiler)
