I am looking to install the evohome into an old 1900's house.
We have a modern extension that has UFH, and then some tradditional radiators in other parts of the house.
We have currently have two separate manifolds, one for the old part of the housing using traditional radiators, and a second for the UFH that has the blending valve / pump.
Is it possible to connect the these to a single HCE80 or do i need a separate one for each manifold? I don't want the UFH pump to activate whenever the traditional radiators are calling for heat - can i set the HCE80 to only activate the pump when the UFH zones are calling for heat?
UFH / Traditional radiator mix
Re: UFH / Traditional radiator mix
Yes, HCC80R (we don't have HCE80 in UK) can control the UFH pump and any associated zone valve. You must bear in mind the HCC80R wasn't designed to control radiators, so some over/undershoots in room temp could be experienced. Better off using HR91/92 Radiator Controllers to control radiators.richardstewart wrote:Is it possible to connect the these to a single HCE80 or do i need a separate one for each manifold?
