Hello, I am new on here. I am looking to install an Evohome system as part of a renovation project but finding it a little difficult to navigate exact requirements.
Hopefully someone can let me know if I have this correct, and there a few question in here too.
I am looking to create 17 heating zones:
8 underfloor heating zones (made up of 12 pipe-runs, all zones are made up of no more than 3 pipe runs)
The underfloor heating runs off 2 manifolds (ground floor and 1st floor)
9 zones made up of 11 radiators
An unvented hot water tank
Wall mounted screens
I think I need:
2 x ATC928G3000 controllers
2 x ATF600 wall mount
BDR91 wireless relay (do I need 2 or 3?) I already have 2 Honeywell relays that are only a couple of years old and look to be identical to the BDR91. Are the relays specific to Evohome or can I re-use the ones I already have?
1 x CS92A tank thermostat
11 x HR92 radiator thermostats
8 x T87RF2033 wireless room thermostats (I have been told that the thermostat for the en-suites need to be a probe as standard thermostats don't work well due to condensation, is that correct? What thermostats should I use in en-suites)
1 x HCC80R underfloor heating controller
1 x HSC80 extension module
(or will I just need 2 x HCC80R's, one for each manifold)
12 thermal actuators (how do I know which type of actuator I need between normally open and normally closed?)
The underfloor heating supplier, Nuheat, have suggested I should be using the actuators from the manifold supplier for warranty purposes and use a different app to control the underfloor heating. I want Evohome to control everything. Should Evohome work with most actuators or do they have to be the Evohome actuators.
Any help much appreciated.
Jonathan
