I personally would say you are testing the boundaries with your installation. I have no idea about the complexity of the issues the metallic objects or other RF devices have on the RF devices, but I know from experience installations like that have been troublesome.

At home, I have zero comms faults with the 'perfect' installation I have over my Plant Room, however I have a 'test' CS92 in a dodgy place (next to metal) and with RF interference from other local devices and although it works I get a comms fault once a month maybe.
