evohome firmware

hello all,

Had my evohome setup now for 2 years or so, I'm no up to 12off hr92 radiator values, with hot water wireless and a wireless gateway.

My controller is shown as ATC928G2000 under the front cover.

Just wondering what is the latest firmware for my unit, it is connected to the internet via the gateway, and I do use the phone app to control my heating.

Don't think there's anything wrong with my setup, just wanted to make sure it was up to date.

Hi Scott,

The ATC928G2000 model does not receive firmware updates... Only the ATC928G3000 'Wi-Fi' model receives updates.

I have an Evohome controller purchased in 2015, is it possible to update the firmware in this unit to version 2.0 or do we need to buy the current new release. Any discounted upgrade offers for existing customers?

As above, if it is a ATC928G2000 model then no the firmware will not be updated.

No current upgrade offers I'm afraid...

Are there differences between Version 2 models? I ask as I have one on version 2 that shows outside temperature and also heat demand under the 'system devices' in the installer menu and another Version 2 that does not show outside temperature nor heat demand under system devices?

If you contact Honeywell on 0300 130 1299 then they will tell you if you are on the latest firmware version and if not, they can push the latest version through to your evohome Controller (ATC928G3000 only).

Thanks. Holding in the queue now... Seems the one in question has 2.00.11.21 and the working one has 2.00.17.03

I recall that mine did not show outside temperature after purchase, but now it does. Must have been an automatic upgrade in the meantime.
