My evohome can't find wifi network

So this is strange,

i'm very well known with routers-modems-etc.
but when i recieved my evohome kit the pairing with the rooms was no problem. But when ik go to the menu en enter the wifi setup, it searches and searches but doesn't find any network! not my onw of my neighbours. So I thought it was broken and send ik back, i recieved a new evohome controller but I have the same issue!!!!
I already looked on the internet a tried port forwarding & put the 2.4gh to antenna 1 but still it doesn't find a thing, what could be wrong?

Hello,

I run into the same problem.
Change your wifi settings to use 1 or 6.... (i changed to 6, and voilla..)

so have tried this, changed the wifi setting to 6 and even placed the evohome on top of the modem, restarted the modem, but still nothing shows up in the wif search results.
Because this is my second evohome with the same problem, I'm sure it has something to do with my internet, but all other devices work fine on wifi, really don't know what do ....

So now I even placed a older wifi router & changed it to channel 1,6 & 11 but still it's enable to find anything, my laptop - cellphones show me the wifi name of the old router.
it's getting a bit rediculouis, should I send it back for a second time with the same problem?
so to sume up again, i recieved 2 different evohome controllers & none of them is able to find a wifi network, not my personal wifi of my neighbours, ....

Hello,

Sorry but i'm also new with evohome....but my i had the same problem. Changed the chanel (on 2.4 Ghz! Evo can't reach the 5Ghz freq.) to 6. and than find in a few second.... I can't help you more, sorry dude...
