Since Honeywell undertook some service maintenance on their servers this week I’ve lost communication with my system via the app. Over a period of about a minute I received a ruck of emails stating communication lost then immediately restored etc. Anyway tried everything log out of system deleted apps logged out of controller.
The question is if I do a system reset on my controller, does that mean I have to remind everything and start from fresh as a new installation
Thanks
Colin

Re: Communication lost with system via app.
Firstly, why would you need to do a reset on the evohome Controller?

Re: Communication lost with system via app.
Hi, well I’m assuming I have to do a reset, as I’ve tried everything else. Other than deleting my account on the total control site and then creating a new one? Could do with advice as to what is the best option. Not had any problems at all until Honeywell did work on their server. I have contacted them they not come back with any solution yet.
Re: Communication lost with system via app.
Have you tried just rebooting the evohome Controller by removing from the power supply and removing the batteries for a couple of minutes? Certainly shouldn't need to factory reset to resolve this...
