Hi,
I am upgrading an existing system due to a faulty controller, I decided to go with the evohome as I will have the option to "upgrade" the system further in the future.
I had electricians come and remove the old controller and replace with two BDR91 units, one from the hot water kit the other supplied the evohome controller. My electricians as good as they are had never seen the evohome before so couldnt help on the actual setup.
For the last few days I have been trying different configurations. doing a system reset and hard reset on each occasion. From what I can tell I have an S Plan system ( one actuator for CH the other for DHW), I can control the CH fine from the evohome, but have really been struggling getting any where with the hot water. I am not completely ruling out a wiring issue yet, but I can control the DHW via the grey button on the BDR91, but even when the evohome says it is binded to that BDR91 it does not respond to commands. The other anomaly I have noticed is when performing a RF Test both the BDR units flash when tested for both the zone and dhw tests.
Hoping someone with a bit more experience with the system can help point me in the right direction.
If I have not given enough details please let me know and I will supply what I can.
Hoping to hear from someone soon, before I lose all my hair.

Hi Paul,
Was this system purchased through The EVOHOME Shop? If it was then please feel free to give us a call and we can hopefully troubleshoot the issues and point you in the right direction.

Prior to set-up, you might want to try to clear the binding in the BDR91 as well by pressing the button on it for 15 seconds.
