Can I use just a bdr91 to control hot water

I have an air source heat pump that uses a wiring centre. The hot water is currently just called for via a timer and the air source controller takes care of the temperature. I am about to install an Evohome system and just need a bdr91 to call for the hot water to turn on and the main system takes care of the valves and boiler call etc.

My question is do I need a full hot water kit or Can I just bind a dbr91 to the hot water part of the Evohome?

If you want to use Hot Water with the evohome system, you need the Hot Water Kit...
