Evohome OpenTherm + ATAG I24S + other boilers compatibility

Hello,
I'm new in this blog.
I have just installed at home one ATAG I24S boiler. The House is divided into 4 zones.
I'm planning to install the Honeywell Evohome wifi System and precisely to control the boiler via the R8810A1018 opentherm wireless bridge.
According to some bloggers here the Evohome opentherm bridge should work with my ATAG I24S and modulate the heating power delivered by the boiler according to Evohome calculated demand of heat.
I have found this document issued by Honeywell Nederlands where it is clearly stated at note (4) that ATAG boilers are not suitable for OpenTherm wireless control. Please note this is a translation from Dutch...
This document offers a List of compatible and uncompatible Boilers as well.
Please help! Is there anyone that have successfully experienced coupling one Atag I24S with R8810A1018 modulating bridge??
