Loss of WiFi connection

After working without problem for more than 2 weeks, suddenly, the controller WiFi connection to our router has been lost.
The controller is wall mounted one floor below the router.
Using the steps to reconnect, the router is found no problem but despite the correct password no connection results.
Is this a Tx failure and the controller needs to be replaced?
